It is hard for me to believe that I have an 8 month-old baby girl! She is growing so quickly and doing so many new things. Her favorite new thing to do is to crawl to the nearest object (she doesn't care if it is steady or not) and pull herself up to a standing position next to it. If it is a table, she will proceed to clearing off the table! She is now standing one-handed and using the other hand to wildly wave in the air.
She also LOVES to pull all of our DVD's off the rack. She is very serious about this work and will often hold one up to us in triumph! She is still a pill when it comes to sleep. She was up at 2 am last night and then woke up for the day at 5:30 am (I think she heard Andrew in the bathroom). She's getting a little better at going to sleep but we still have a long ways to go! She still has a bit of a runny nose.
Her favorite thing to "say" these days is "dada" although we don't think she really knows what she is saying. I always point to Daddy when she says this or say, "Daddy is not here" if Andrew is not around.
We haven't been good at keeping up with taking her picture. I am going to try to get my act together and take some 8 month pictures this weekend. I hope to share them all when I have them.

Grandpa Kurt and I would also like to send our happy-8-month-birthday wishes to our precious granddaughter. Just watch out! Soon Abigail will be toddling around the house.
