It's raining, it's pouring . . .

I love this weather! I wouldn't love it everyday but for a nice midweek rain for my garden, it's perfect!

Andrew taught his first class last night. He said it "went well" and that the class was "fun". He did tell me that all but one or two of his students are older than he is but he seemed to enjoy himself. I KNOW for a fact that he is a very good teacher but I thought being in-front of people for 4 hours in one night might wear him out. The man is an introvert . . . likes to be alone (very much unlike his wife). . . but he seemed fine.

He is working from home again today. It's nice. :)

OH, I switched Abigail to overnight diapers (during the night, of course) in one size up and they seem to be doing the trick! She hasn't wet out of them yet. They are VERY full in the mornings, though. She slept until 7 am this morning when I had to wake her up to leave. I think this just proves that the reason she wakes up on other mornings so early is because she hears her dad stomping around, taking a shower, and blowing his nose! I do those things too, I just do them more quietly!

Don't even get me started on loud morning men!! Travis always stomps and flushes our loud toilet! Our room is right next to the boys and our closet wall is right next to Warren's bed. WELL, he just rips his shirts off the hanger and the hanger flips around and clicks on the wall a few LOUD times and then 15 seconds later I hear a.... eeeehhhhhh WAAAAHHH!! LOL

I have almost told Andrew to get ready in our downstairs bathroom but then I'd have to clean it constantly too! Our closet is also on the other side of the wall from the crib!

Aaron's not a quiet get-ready-for-work guy either, but I think since he gets ready so early (4:30am, leaves by 5am), everybody is still sleeping soundly enough that we don't hear him. I don't even hear his alarm go off anymore! But if he's home during nap time...good grief! I'm constantly telling him to quit talking so loud or stomping around (You'd think he was 300lbs. the way he walks! So loud!!!). It's funny that seemingly all men have this problem! Mom says my Dad gets the bathroom door (which her side of the bed faces) all but 3 inches shut and then flips on the light!!! Men! ;)

He didn't learn that from Wayne! Wayne is very quiet in the morning and makes sure the bathroom door is closed before turning on the light.

I just have to say that there are A TON of things that Andrew did not pick up from Wayne! :)

If this is an example, he hasn't hand-washed a dish since our first year of marriage. I could go on, but I won't. I love him anyway! He does load the dishwasher all the time.

It is mainly that Andrew blows his nose VERY loudly every morning (it's loud anytime, not just mornings). The rest of it is fairly quiet and low key.

Oh man, Matt blows his nose SOOO loud. It sounds like a trumpet. I am lucky we don't have kids yet, but I can already foresee it being an issue after reading this post! :)

Blowing his nose is the funniest thing! Wayne avoids blowing his nose at all costs and his mom said that he has always been like that.

Andrew did inherit those weird fetishes! He used to be pretty picky about touching his nose but he's come a long way.

I have banished Andrew to the guest room for blowing his nose during the night. It is like being woken up by a fog horn in your ear! Not pleasant!
