This past week Abigail has been majorly wetting out of her diapers each night. I finally figured out this morning that her wetness is what is causing her to wake up a bit earlier than usual each day. It was 6:30 am this morning and we even put her to bed later last night (she didn't fall asleep until after 9 pm). She wears Pampers Cruisers. Has anyone ever used an overnight diaper? Is there another brand that holds more? I think I did hear once of a lady to duct taped a maxi pad into the front of her kids diaper to keep it from leaking. That seems extreme but I want Abigail to be comfortable and I want a bit more sleep.
Any ideas?
She is soaked clear through her PJ top when she wakes up. Yuck!

Withhold liquids a little earlier and overnight diapers do help. I've only tried the huggies kind though. It may be a phase too. Warren had a week or two of peeing all night, we ended up changing his diaper in the middle of the night to get more sleep. I think he may have been holding it late before bed time.
we use the huggies overnight and they work great! Kayden goes to sleep around 7 and wakes up around 8:00 and they are soaked, but do not leak! We love them! They work very well and have never had a leak!

Yes! My kids started having overnight leaks before they were two. They wore regular diapers during the day and we have used Huggies night time diapers and when they got bigger we used the Good Nites.
I think we used the ones made by Pampers for overnight too (I was a cruisers mom myself) but I can't remember the name.
They are all more absorbent and we had good luck with all of them.
Thanks for all the tips. I am going to try some overnight diapers. If that doesn't help, I guess I could go change her diaper during one of my many trips to the bathroom to pee! :) I don't want to do that unless absolutely necessary, though!
Ditto on the Huggies Overnights. Jacob has had a pee soaking problem for a long time. He even soaks through those, but not until it's time to wake up (he sleeps for at least 12 hrs.) There have been a few times he has absolutely soaked everything, but again only when it's time to wake up. He's never leaked thru in the night. I think when I start potty training, I'm going to have to stop the drinks at like 4!! I swear the boy can has a bigger bladder than I do! We also have to use those on our trips b/c he drinks so much in the car that he leaks thru a regular diaper in less than 3 hrs!
Yes, Abigail also leaked in the car on our way home from Kansas. Crazy! She was SOAKED this morning. So gross to think that she is soaked in pee. I overslept so no time for a bath before leaving for work. I just wiped her down.
I've got to try to get some overnight diapers for TONIGHT! I can't keep up with the laundry either! :)
