The man has issues!

I just want to get a good night's sleep without getting woken up . . . by my husband! Seriously, the man has some sleeping issues. He usually tosses and turns a lot but last night I was woken up at 11:30 pm by him getting out of bed (again). I asked what was wrong and he told me he couldn't sleep. I was so tired I could hardly lift my arm but he wanted his back scratched, so I obliged.

I'm beginning to think that separate beds (or maybe rooms) are in order to get a proper night's sleep!

My theory is that he does not get enough opportunity to express his emotions (or know how to express them). Therefore he lays there and thinks things over instead of being able to relax and fall asleep. He isn't an uptight person, but maybe he is inside. Maybe I'm reading WAY too much into this in my tired frame of mind.

First of all it would be funny to imagine an "I Love Lucy" scenario happening. Not sure if He would be interested but I find when I have thoughts and bottled up things I like to collage. I mostly do collages with words as you can see on my blog but it seems to help relieve the stress and makes my mind not think about all the other stuff. Just an idea.

Sometimes I can't fall asleep either, just because I have so much on my mind. However, i feel you on the husbands causing lack of sleep thing. I have given up falling asleep before Matt gets home because I always wake up when he gets home and if I've been sleeping deeply, I can't fall back asleep. SO, my sleep hours are reduced to 11:30 pm to 5:30 am on a good night. Oh how I crave a good night's sleep! I am with you and feel your pain completely! (Except I don't have to come up with the energy to take care of a child). Don't know how you do it!

I'm telling you all . . . separate bedrooms are the way to go! I can usually sleep anywhere and at any time, except if he keeps getting in and out of bed!
