1000!!!!!!!!!!

Can you believe that this is my 1,000th post?!

I mean, what in the world do I have to say that would take 1000 posts to do it in?

I feel like celebrating!

I wish I had something that I could do as a giveaway but . . .

alas, I have little money, even less crafting skills, even less time.

So, I'm going to ask something of you in return.

In celebration of my 1,000 post of seemingly pointless blogging, would you please leave a comment? Doesn't have to be nice or anything, just say "hi, I read your blog".

Seriously, everyone? Pretty please?!

It would thrill me to no end.

Thank you. Thank you! Thank you!!

I have several more recipes coming up and a video of Elsie trying her first bites of food (organic bananas) that I'll try to get posted the rest of this week. I'll be spending the rest of the week in the kitchen! Seriously, taking a meal to people tonight - snacks for small group on Thursday - and having friends over on Saturday. Have I said that I love to cook?! (but not clean - ugh!)

I will be the first to say I read your blog! I should be embarrassed to say that I usually check a couple times each day to see what excitement you have been up to! From your loving mother-in-law...

1000!?! I'm only at 865 and I've been blogging since '03! I must admit, I was a bit distracted last year....

Congrats, Jaime!!! Can't wait to congratulate you in person!

P.S. I follow your blog via RSS, so it takes extra work to leave a comment. I should do it a little more often! :)

Thanks guys! Dorinda, I read all mine through Google Reader and I find I don't comment nearly as much since I have to click over too. Looking forward to Saturday!

I'm here:) I don't know how many posts I've done. 1,000 is a lot! Way to go!

Hi, I read your blog :) And I subscribe through Google reader so I don't often comment, though I do often comment in my head, which doesn't help you out at all :) Yay for you!

Your precious sister gave me your blog address a while ago, and not wanting to comment in words as the others wrote I usually smile and applaude you in my mind, could God use anyone.. yes he can and does use you.He is strong when we are weak. Thanks for being a good "mom" to your sweet girls and a loving wife to Andrew, while genuine and real to all of us. Walking worthy of our calling...Eph 4:1

Hi Jaime, I'm trying to remember when I started reading your blog... I think it was when Maggie and I stayed with you and Andrew in Kansas on our cross country trip (May 2005). Have you been doing it that long??

That's right when I started blogging. It was April 2005.

Hi Jaime! 1000 posts is certainly a monumental achievment. I love reading your blog and hearing about your beautiful family! I've been getting behind on both blogging AND reading blogs lately, but I finally read this post and had to comment. I hope you have many thousands of posts to come!

Of course, Dad and I love your blog and so do Grandpa and Grandma. Did you know I occasionally print it off and send it to Aunt Flo? She reads it through several times. Thanks for taking time to write about your experiences several times a week. It helps us seem not so far apart.

Love, Mom

Thanks, Mom. I didn't know that you send them to Aunt Flo. That's funny. Do G&G read all of them or just what you print out?

I love reading your blog.
