My First Ohio Job Offer

This afternoon while shopping for a new keyboard for Grandpa Myers, I got a call from Grandma Myers saying that I needed to call a guy back from the church I had an interview with on Friday. So, I called him back from the parking lot of the Microtel Center. He said that they would like to offer me the job of Administrative Assistant at their church! Yeah! I really liked them in the interview. Anyway, we are going to meet this next week to talk about salary and benefits. I haven't officially accepted it yet but if the offer is right then I will. This is the job that I really wanted out of all that I applied to. I applied to many (probably over 70 when all was said and done)!! It may not be over yet. We will just wait and see next week. If I take the job, I would not start until January. That is good because it would leave me to enjoy friends and family over the Christmas holiday without bothering about work. So, that's the latest update!

Very exciting Jaime and that would be perfect timing to be able to enjoy Christmas. I say again, I don't know why I continue to be amazed by God's timing, but I do! Where is the church located? What does an Administrative Assistant do? Love, Linda :)

The church is in Mason. It is located just past Hope church on Socialville-Foster road. The AA pretty much does most everything except the website (database, bulletin, mailings, incoming mail, answers the phone, support to the pastor, etc). I'm not sure yet of everything I will be doing! :)

Jaimers, I loved being an Admin at my church in Wichita - you're so perfect for the job. All those details!

You would be great at that job! What a wonderful opportunity especially since that was the job you wanted. and it sounds relatively close so that would be good too. and Liberty Township would be a nice central location for you and Andrew to live, so that sounds perfect too! ah, God is good! By the way - what do you think of your first Ohio snow? Love, Linda :)

Liberty Twp is a great location but a bit expensive. We are trying to find the right spot for us. I find out on Thursday more details about the job. The snow was great besides the fact that Dewey had his running away episode that night! I will blog about that later!

Congrats on the job offer. I'm sure you will be great, and working at a church sounds absollutely perfect for you. That's awesome! Will you be looking for a house of your own soon? Oh, and I want to hear about Dewey's running away episode. I hope everything is OK!

Yea!!! I'm so glad for you--it sounds, at least right now, that it is exactly what you would enjoy and would use the super organizational gifts you have. Keep me posted!

J - I'm finally getting caught up on all your posts--a MONTH later. This is such a good, positive note to find at the end of my reading. Congrats on the offer. I hope the job is everything you expect and more.
