Sinus Wars!

I've struggled with sinus problems ever since I can remember. Upon moving to Ohio, my sinus problems have gotten much worse! My nose doesn't agree with the air, I guess. Most recently, the chiropractor has said to me that she thinks she can fix my sinus problem. I am overjoyed to hear this but skeptical at the same time. She has adjusted me twice, thus far, in order to correct a sinus headache that I've had. Neither time has worked! :( As I'm faced, again today, with another pounding sinus headache (and no, drugs don't have any effect), I wonder what the solution might be. I have sinus headaches approximately 5 out of 7 days a week (especially lately). Argh!! Any ideas?

We've finally set a bit of a deadline for the electric to be finished. We're hoping to have our framing inspection on November 28th!! It's not set in stone but we're hoping for that date! After that, we can proceed with the insulation, drywall, and finish carpentry!!

I guess there is no way that you can come on Wednesday to see Solomon? That would be my solution to the problem.

Nope, no way. We've had some interesting discussions about time off with my boss lately too.

Sorry to hear about your sinus problems. By the way, the house looks great! I'm not sure what to tell you about the sinus problems, but have you thought of the nasal irrigator that mom has...it sounds kind of weird, but who knows.

I already use a nasal irrigator. Yes, it's weird. It helps but I still get headaches. When will you come see our house?

The house is beautiful!! It looks like a home and like your mom said, it will be even more gorgeous with landscaping. It bears repeating - it looks like a home already and even though it will only get better and better, it is hard to imagine. As far as sinus - I too have suffered all of my life and the only way I deal is this: I have a three step remedy - every morning, I sniff salt water from a spray bottle (the Wal-green brand) which clears things out and keeps infection at bay. I blow my nose off and on for the next thirty minutes, then follow up with Flonase (or the generic version of this, which requires a prescription) and no more nose blowing for quite some time. At night, I take a "Zyrtec" (another prescription). I have been on this particular regime for about seven years now and it is the best one yet! I feel normal and sometimes even forget I am allergic to stuff and have sinus issues!! So that would be my advice.....good luck, Miss Jaime!!
